Job Description
An exciting position has arisen for an individual who is a continuous learner, persistent, determined, curious, perceptive, analytical, and able to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager IT – Business Infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Researching, testing, evaluation, and deployment of cyber security procedures.
• Researching potential cyber risks and threats (internal and external), local and international and submitting recommendations.
• Developing unique strategies and updating Cyber Security plans for software systems, network, servers, and hardware.
• Reviewing and analysis of internal audit, Forensics, fraud, and loss incident reports, establishing trends and submitting a report with recommendations.
• Monitoring software and infrastructure for external and internal intrusions, attacks, hacks and recommending corrective measures.
• Carrying out weekly cyber security assessments in line with guidelines, closing off vulnerabilities and documenting and maintaining security breach incidents.
• Designing security training materials and conducting security awareness training.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Industry certifications e.g. CISSP, CEH
• 3/4 years experience working in Information Security or similar environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare accurate reports.
