OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Director of Finance and Administration will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The incumbent will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, and IT. The Director of Finance and Administration will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as IoDZ continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Directing financial strategy formulation & implementation.
2. Overseeing Financial reporting & analysis.
3. Overseeing cost management & budgetary control
4. Direct and monitor all financial activities of the Institute.
5. Oversee risk management & investments.
6. Oversee all administration activities & human capital management.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Minimum of a Finance or Accounting Degree, ideally an MBA or related master's degree will be an added advantage. Professional qualification in finance/accounting (CA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is a must.
2. At least seven to 10 years of overall professional experience; ideally six-plus years of broad financial and operations management experience
