Job Description
*FARM MANAGER*
The Global Agribusiness Professionals Institute, is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee both sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:*
- Oversee day to day operations across both farms
- Manage and supervise farm staff, including graduate trainees and general workers
- Plan and coordinate production schedules for horticultural crops
- Monitor crop health, yields, and quality standards
- Oversee livestock management at the Kadoma site
- Manage input procurement, budgets, and cost control across both sites
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Report regularly to the business owner on production, staffing, and operational performance
* Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
*We are looking for a candidate who:*
- Holds a degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
- Has a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar farm or production management role, with a demonstrated track record in horticultural crops
- Holds a valid driver's license
- Is based in, or willing to relocate to Kadoma town
