VACANCY: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Location: Harare

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, statutory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all accounting and financial operations.
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
* Coordinate external audits and implement audit recommendations.
* Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management.
* Supervise and develop the finance team.
* Monitor organisational financial performance and recommend improvements.
* Oversee risk management and ensure sound financial governance.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Must be a registered public accountant with qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS, or equivalent.
* At least 5 years’ progressive experience in finance, including experience in a senior finance or Financial Controller role.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, taxation, and budgeting.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
