CIMAS Is Looking For A General Hand
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains general cleanliness of Clinic premises i.e. floors, windows, walls, storage rooms and ceiling.
Ensures maintenance of Clinic yard.
Observes proper waste disposal as per infection control policy.
Ensures use of protective clothing and equipment to prevent spread of infection.
Disinfects and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
Conducts general maintenance duties where/when needed.
Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Notifies Nurse In Charge of occurring deficiencies or need for repairs.
Prepares comprehensive cleaning and maintenance plans for the Clinic.
Participates on the movement of heavy equipment and supplies as and when necessary.
Ensures that all cleaning equipment are stored effectively.
Ensures adequate records of equipment and tools are maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
5 ‘O’ level subjects
Certificate in Housekeeping
Certificate in first aid training is an added advantage
