Job Description

We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented, and recently qualified Class 1 Boilermakers to join our production and fabrication team in Bulawayo. This role is specifically tailored for recent graduates or newly time-served artisans who hold a Class 1 Journeyman card and are looking to launch their professional careers within a structured, safety-first fabrication environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cut, shape, position, and align continuous steel sections, plates, and structural frameworks using workshop machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to plan layouts and material requirements accurately.
Perform high-quality welding, and structural tacking in line with company and regulatory quality standards.
Assist in the structural repair, modification, and routine maintenance of plant equipment and heavy steel fixtures.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations (including the proper use of PPE).

Qualifications and Experience

Trade-tested Skilled Worker Class 1 Journeyman in Boilermaking / Fabrication Engineering
National Certificate (NC) in Fabrication Engineering or Boilermaking from a recognized polytechnic or industrial training center.
Minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject.
Open to recent graduates and newly qualified journeymen. Direct workshop attachment or practical apprenticeship experience is highly valued.
