Job Description
Graduate Trainee Information Security
A leading organisation in the Healthcare Service Industry is seeking to recruit recently qualified graduates to participate in a competence based 2 year Graduate Learnership Program
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the mentorship of the Information Security Officer, the position shall be responsible for the following, among other learnership duties:-
. Administers data, application and host security;
. Implements network security;
. Conducts regular reviews of information security, procedures, policies, standards and guidelines to keep up with the prevailing best practices;
. Ensures confidentiality, integrity and availability of information;
• Condos regular information security awareness programs to minimize noncompliance to policy;
• Conducts information security related investigations, monitors and reports, to ensure conformity to the set ICT standards;
. Identifies, assesses, monitors and recommends on the management of information risks;
• Manages security certificates;
• Identifies and implements access control and account management security measures;
• Keeps abreast of emerging changes in risk management and information security.
Qualifications and Experience
Person Specifications
• 5 "O" Levels including English and Mathematics;
• BSc Information Technology or Computer Science Degree (Class 2.1 or better);
• 25 years of age or below;
• Knowledge in IS027001/CEH is an added advantage.
