Job Description

Curechem Overseas (Pvt) Limited, a leading chemical raw material distribution Company in Zimbabwe with branches in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique and India is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacant position which has arisen in Zimbabwe. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Group General Manager- Warehouse & Logistics — Curechem Group

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Leading the Warehouse & Logistics team and bringing down cost of operations for the group.
• Managing transportation of products from different ports to final destinations.
• Managing the sea freights and clearings at port.
• Managing imports and exports documentation.
• Managing tracking of consignments and expediting shipments.
• Managing the Warehouse operations of different branches

Qualifications and Experience

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
• Degree in international Purchasing, Logistics and Transport
• Management, Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
• MBA Degree will be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years experience in shipping, forwarding and general warehouse management of which 5 years must be at managerial level.
• Experience in Industrial, Mining, Paint and Agricultural chemicals industries will be a distinct advantage.
