Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production sector, has
some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Shurugwi & South Dyke Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to
fill the vacant posts in the Division on fixed-term employment contract basis, renewable
subject to performance.
POSITION 1. : HUMAN RESOURCES CLERK

Duties and Responsibilities

 Human Resource Management clerical duties.
 Records management.
 Minutes taking in HR related meetings.
 Salary and benefits administration.
 Ensuring proper documentation for terminations.
 Coordination of employee welfare interventions.
 Assist the administration of company properties.
 SHE inspections and action plans.
 Housekeeping and maintenance of company premises.
 SHE Management within the Human Resources
section.

Qualifications and Experience

 A Diploma in Human Resources Management or
equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution.
 At least 2 years’ post qualification experience in
Human Resource Management field, preferably in a
Mining or Heavy Industry environment.
 Proficiency in the use of relevant ERP system,
preferably SAP HCM Module and SAP Super User
training will be a distinct advantage.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems,
with exposure to the NOSA SHE System being an
added advantage.
 Must be able to communicate at all levels both
verbally and written.
 Clean Class 4 driver’s licence a must.
