VACANCY NOTICE & JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Human Resources Director

Governance Reporting: Dotted-line reporting to the Managing Director on HR compliance, corporate governance and policy implementation.

Duty Station: Head Office, Harare, with regular travel to all Strike Security branches and deployment sites.

Position Summary

Strike Security (Private) Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Human Resources Administrator.

The successful candidate will strengthen the Human Resources Department by ensuring that all employee records, recruitment documentation, labour compliance records, uniform administration, disciplinary records and HR filing systems are maintained to the highest professional standards.

The successful candidate will also serve as the custodian of all Human Resources records and play a key role in protecting the company against labour disputes through proper documentation and compliance with Zimbabwean labour legislation and company policies.

Reporting Structure

The Human Resources Administrator shall report directly to the Human Resources Director for all operational responsibilities.

The position shall also maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Managing Director on matters involving:

- HR policy compliance.
- Labour law compliance.
- Employee records management.
- Uniform administration.
- Internal HR audits.
- Corporate governance.
- HR compliance risks.
- Fraud, negligence or policy breaches affecting the Human Resources Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance Responsibilities

The Human Resources Administrator shall immediately report any of the following:

- Employees deployed without signed employment contracts.
- Missing or incomplete personnel files.
- Missing fingerprint or identification records.
- Payroll or deduction irregularities.
- Uniforms issued without documentation.
- Failures to implement the Uniform Deposit and Refund Policy.
- Missing disciplinary records.
- Any practice exposing the company to labour disputes, legal action.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Management, Public Administration or a related field from a recognised university.
- A valid Zimbabwe Class 4 Driver's Licence (compulsory).
- A minimum of two (2) years' practical experience in Human Resources Administration or Human Resources Management.
- Excellent knowledge of Zimbabwe Labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic records management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A clean criminal record.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
