Job Description
We are seeking a highly persuasive, assertive, competitive and results-driven Internal Sales Representative with a strong passion for closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
The successful candidate will aggressively pursue sales opportunities, convert enquiries into confirmed business, proactively follow up on quotations, and actively promote the company's crane hire, heavy equipment rental and technical services.
The role requires excellent negotiation skills, strong customer engagement, effective objection handling, and the ability to turn potential leads into profitable sales. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, preparing quotations, and ensuring consistent revenue growth.
The ideal candidate must be a confident, self-motivated and target-oriented sales professional with exceptional persuasion skills, a relentless drive to secure business, and the ability to perform under pressure.
We want a deal closer, not just an order taker.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, and sales orders.
• Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into sales.
• Maintain customer records and provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with logistics departments, workshop and finance
• Has capacity to meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications and Experience
• HND/Degree in Sales and Marketing or Degree in Logistics or a technical qualification (Artisan) or any related field.
• Strong communication, computer, and administrative skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• At least 4 years previous internal sales experience.
• Class 4 Drivers licence is an added advantage.
