Job Description

The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:
WORKS DEPARTMENT.
1.
a. JOURNEYMAN BRICKLAYER- GRADE 8 (1 POST) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY

Duties and Responsibilities

Constructs and maintains Council buildings
• Leads and manages the bricklaying teams, tools
and equipment.
• Assesses, estimates and orders materials for maintenance.
Compiles and submits labour, transport and materials returns.
• Supervises subordinates.

Qualifications and Experience

3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• A Skilled Worker Class 1 in the Trade of Bricklaying.
• A clean Class 4 Driver's Licence.
• At least 4 years' experience in a similar working environment.
