The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo:
JOURNEYMAN PAINTER- GRADE 8 (1 POST)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Paints, maintains and decorates Council buildings.
• Defines and mixes paint colours required on site.
• Supervises the painting team and manages equipment and tools.
• Oversees painting compliance to health and safety standards and policy.
• Plans painting works.
• Assesses, estimates and orders materials.
• Compiles and submits labour, transport and materials use returns.
• Identifies, maps trade trends and captures budget data inputs.
• A Skilled Worker Class 1 in the Trade of Painting.
Qualifications and Experience
• A Skilled Worker Class 1 in the Trade of Painting
• A clean Class 4 Driver's Licence.
• At least 4 years' experience in similar working environment.
