Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following JUNIOR LECTURER/LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR positions that have arisen in the following Faculties within the University of Zimbabwe:

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
● To teach Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Service courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
● To supervise postgraduate and undergraduate research projects
● To research and publish scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals
● To provide administrative and community services
● To nurture innovation among students
● To actively participate in the implementation of the University’s innovation and industrialisation strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
● Good undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Nutrition/ Dietetics/Nutrition and Dietetics or other relevant fields
● A PhD in the relevant fields is an added advantage
● Registration with the Allied Health Practitioners Council or other approved councils in the case of foreign applicants
● Dietitians/Epidemiologists/Biostaticians/Economists/Social Scientists with proven experience in the field of nutrition and food security are encouraged to apply.
