Duties and Responsibilities
The facilitation/execution and delivery of all supervisory, engineering skills and technical training
.• Supporting the overall discipline specific Learning management of the operation
• Coordinating the running of fit for purpose Engineering Graduate and Apprenticeship development programs.
• Trackless mobile equipment training, assessment, coordination and pass out.
• Engineering skills training and facilitation of engineering related disciplines training
• Compiling and implementing the operational skills training aspects of a workplace skills plan.
• Conducting operational competency training, assessments and audits.
• Implementing and supervision of operational engineering skills on the job coaching
• Ensuring that the competency framework used for training is technically sound, as well as complying with legal requirements.
• Ensuring that the training material and delivery is of a high quality, through regular audits and feedback from line management.
• Providing recommended guidelines for learning and development
• Consistently applying and maintaining safety, health and environment principles and standards for the mine.
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years’ working experience as an artisan or engineering foreman
• Competent in mine HR systems and related legislation
• Competent in Learning function systems related to the role
• Computer literate for role including SAP Learning
• Clean Class 4 driver’s license
