Mechanic Position
Based in Harare, Msasa

Preventative trucks maintenance
Parts repairs and replacements
Engine and brakes overhauls and rebuilds
Welding and fabrications
Pneumatic troubleshooting
Safety compliance checks
Record keeping of service and maintenance dates etc
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Adjusting and replacing mechanical and electronic components
Determining causes of breakdowns and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Qualifications and Experience

Clean Class 2 driver’s licence
Valid Defensive Driving
At least 8 years hands on experience dealing with heavy trucks in a commercial company
Medical Tests
Ability to maintain trucks such as Mercedes Benz, UD 460, Daf Euro 5, Howo 371 etc
Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
Sound judgement and decision-making
Excellent driving skills
Time management and organisational skills
Ability to communicate with clients and people in general
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
Knowledge of HOWO trucks in an added advantage
Knowledge of Auto mechanics is an added advantage
