Position: Merchandisers
Reports to: Commercial Officer.
We are seeking vibrant and dynamic individuals to fill the above positions.
The incumbents will be responsible for ensuring the availability, visibility, and marketability of our seed products across agro-dealer outlets and retail partners. The role supports the sales team by implementing merchandising standards, enhancing brand visibility, and facilitating the movement of seed varieties in line with the company’s sales and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure our products are adequately stocked and visibly displayed at all assigned outlets.
• Implement point-of-sale (POS) materials including posters, banners, and display stands to promote visibility.
• Monitor stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and preventing stock-outs or expiries.
• Execute promotional activities and field marketing campaigns as guided by the Commercial Officer.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Support sales growth through effective in-store execution and visibility.
• Liaise with agro-dealers, retailers, and shop attendants to promote ARDA Seeds’ product range.
• Provide product knowledge support to customers and escalate technical inquiries to sales staff.
• Foster strong relationships with retail partners to strengthen ARDA Seeds’ market position.
• Submit weekly activity reports on stock levels, competitor activities, and promotional outcomes.
• Provide feedback on customer demand and recommend strategies for improving sales.
• Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience.
• Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, or a related field.
• 2 years’ experience in merchandising, sales, or agricultural input distribution.
• Knowledge of seed products and agro-input industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently and work with minimal supervision.
