We are looking for an experienced Overseer Miner to join our Mining team based in Shamva. This position reports to
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensures compliance to Mining Regulations, SHEQ Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures the adequate provision of resources, machinery and equipment and controls use of the same to ensure it is within budget.
• Coordinates Mining activities with the objective of meeting production targets.
• Assesses the quality of work performed by subordinates and initiates corrective action where necessary.
• Ensures the maintenance of high standards of housekeeping.
• Manages on the job training and development of subordinates.
• Prepares and submits requisite reports.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• Bsc. Hons. Degree in Mining Engineering
• A holder of a Full Blasting License (FBL)
• A minimum of 5 years mining experience.
