Job Description

The job exists to ensure that a clean, safe, and healthy working environment conducive for maximum staff welfare is maintained and sustained daily.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans and vacuums all offices daily, to ensure good working environment for staff daily.
• Collects all refuse bins from offices and empties them in the designated waste collection bin daily.
• Cleans desks, windows, furniture, and other equipment to minimize dusty conditions for office staff daily.
• Ensures the boardroom is always clean after each meeting.
• Cleans ablution facilities and ensures all toiletries are adequately stocked.
• Prepares teas for staff daily and serves tea and refreshments in meetings to visitors.
• Identifies and reports damaged office property to the supervisor
• Checks on equipment e.g., photocopier, water tank and generator to ensure they are functioning properly
• Prepares grocery schedule for HQ staff and alerts supervisor of any shortages.
• Updates groceries on bin cards every day and alerts supervisor of any stock outs or stocks due to expire.
• Assists by manning the reception as and when required.
• Orders and allocates stationery to admin staff.
• Loads and offloads stocks and equipment as and when required.
• Conducts stock take for HQ groceries & stationery in collaboration with the Admin Officer.
• Ensures offices and windows are opened, closed and locked daily.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 ‘'O’ ‘levels including English Language.
• At least 1 year working experience.
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Hardworking and able to Communicate at all levels
