vacancies:

Job purpose

The primary objective of this internship is to give recent graduates experience and exposure
in the practical aspects of their respective areas of study.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides AGYW HIV project related support in documenting and filing project documents, and delivery of stationery and fuel to districts.
• Conducts data entry to maintain the project database with support from AGYW Programme Facilitator and M&E Officer.
• Maintains beneficiary registers for the AGYW HIV project in the supported districts.
• Provide secretarial services to the AGYW project and compile minutes and reports of meetings and workshops.
• Participate in consolidation of AGYW project monthly and Quarterly Reports.
• Undertakes Onsite Data Verifications as dictated by the AGYW project.
• Support coordination of requests from schools and communities ensuring timely response.
• Coordinate training of community volunteers and in-school teacher mentors on project data collection tools and reporting.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments for potential beneficiaries
• Promoting Plan International policies

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Public Health, Humanities, Development Studies or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Ministry of Health and Child Care and Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education structures.
• Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows/Office environment.
• Self-starter
