QUANTITY SURVEYOR
*VACANCY: QUANTITY SURVEYOR*
A reputable Construction company based in Harare is looking for a qualified and experienced *Quantity Surveyor* to join our Projects Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQs and tender documents
- Cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Contract administration and site measurements
- Liaising with Engineers, Architects and Clients
Qualifications and Experience
*Minimum Requirements:*
Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
- At least *3-5 years* post-qualification experience (building & civil projects)
- Registered with *Zimbabwe Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ZIQS)* – an added advantage
- Proficient in *Buildsoft, CCS, WinQS, MS Project, Excel & AutoCAD*
- Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC, JBCC), cost estimation, BOQs, valuations & final accounts
- Strong analytical, negotiation and reporting skills
