Job Description
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to be based at our Fairy Cafe Harare branch restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to coordinate daily restaurant operations, lead the team in delivering a high-quality menu and provide excellent food and beverage service.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
- A Degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in restaurant, café, or food service management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in staff supervision, stock control, cash management, and sales monitoring.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and customer service practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare and interpret sales reports, stock reports, and basic financial records.
- Good computer skills and experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet operational targets.
- A strong customer-focused mindset with a proven ability to improve service quality and business performance.
