Purpose of the Role
To train and develop young talent in:
• Sales fundamentals and customer engagement
• Product and service knowledge
• Prospecting and lead generation
• Sales reporting and CRM usage
• Negotiation and closing techniques
• After-sales customer relationship management
• Understanding company sales systems and SOPs
The trainee will work under supervision while undergoing structured, practical sales training.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Identifying and approaching potential customers
• Traveling to meet clients and conduct field sales activities
• Presenting and explaining products or services to clients
• Generating leads and following up on prospects
• Maintaining accurate customer records in CRM systems
• Preparing daily and weekly sales reports
• Supporting senior sales representatives during field visits
• Handling customer inquiries and objections professionally
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and relationship building
• Following structured sales processes and targets
• Attending internal training sessions
Qualifications and Experience
• Completed O Level or A Level
• Valid driver’s license (compulsory)
• Ability and willingness to drive regularly for fieldwork
• Interest in sales, marketing, or business development
• Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM preferred)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Confidence and positive attitude
• High level of discipline and integrity
