The company is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the following positions that have risen within the organization in Harare
1. Senior Chefs x 3 (Saucier)
Responsibilities
• Maintaining consistency of food quality and production within the kitchen.
• Requesting menu items from stores through the Sous chef.
• Monitoring portion control, paying particular attention to standard recipes.
• Monitoring sanitation and cleaning of all working areas
• Be well conversed with of all sections within the kitchen
• Keeping up with cooking trends and best practices
• Maintaining cleanliness in the Kitchen in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Supervising junior chefs in the kitchen sections.
• Be well versed with food costing of items prepared in the kitchen
• Checking that all electrical equipment is switched off after service.
• Checking that refrigerators within section are kept clean and locked after service
• Reporting any defective equipment to the Sous Chef.
• Efficiently utilize stocks in order to produce required Gross Profits
Qualifications
• HND in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• Class 1 Skilled worker certificate
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
