Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a qualified, experienced and results oriented Stores and Procurement Controller to join our dynamic Stores and Procurement team in Harare.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintenance of accurate Stock records.
2. Ensuring maximum security in Stores.
3. Timeous requesting of stock items to buyer.
4. Ensuring that all Stores and Procurement procedures are followed to the book.
5. Recommending maximum and minimum stocking levels to avoid stockouts.
6. Ensuring good housekeeping and order in the Stores section.
7. Producing weekly and monthly stores management reports.
8. Supervision of the Stores and Procurement team.

Qualifications and Experience

1. HND/Degree in Purchasing and Supply chain management *or* an Accounting degree coupled up with relevant experience.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the supervision/management of the stores function.
3. Knowledge of pastel and demonstrated ability to use computer packages.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Good ethical and moral values
