Job Description
Overally responsible for the day to day running of the infant school. The position includes teaching responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Supervise and monitor all teaching staff ensuring they meet the standard of service as required by the school.
2) Uphold the standards set by the school's vision, teaching philosophy, policies, values, goals and the curriculum.
3) Provide as safe, challenging, supportive and stimulating school environment in which children can feel happy and secure with a sense of belonging.
Qualifications and Experience
1) Ordinary Level Certificate including Mathematics and English Language.
2) Diploma in Early Childhood Development Programme or Diploma in Primary Education.
3) Computer Literacy is an added advantage.
4) Proficiency in English Language (both written and oral).
5) 5 years working experience as a teacher.
6) A minimum of 3 years working experience as a TIC or Grade 1 & 2 Teacher.
