Job Description

CBZ Bank Limited is looking for Tellers to join its Retail Banking Division. If you are eager and motivated to join a large and diversified corporate, this is an opportunity for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

What we expect from you
 Accept deposits and processing cash withdrawals timeously.
 Carry out the necessary due processes when processing cash withdrawal transactions.
 Process all money transfer transactions timeously.
 Perform Teller on premise services as and when required.
 Open smartcash accounts within the prescribed periods.
 Assist in eliminating incidences of frauds, losses, and shortages through full compliance with laid down procedures.
 Maintain the cash-holding limit within set guidelines.
 Ensure all Teller vouchers/documents are kept safe at all times.
 Ensure that all cash transactions are posted and authorized on a daily basis.
 Facilitate efficient counter service and that all customer requirements/complaints are dealt with expediently and courteously in close liaison with the Chief Teller.

Qualifications and Experience

 At least 2 A Levels passes.
 Should demonstrate progress towards attaining a full IOBZ Diploma or a similar professional qualification in Banking and Finance.
 A degree in Banking and Finance is a clear advantage.
 Possess at least 2 years banking experience or similar.
 Have solid computer literacy skills.
 Should demonstrate strong knowledge of the financial sector.
 Possess exceptional communication, client service and public relations skills.
