Town Board Administrator GRADE 10
REPORTING TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administration and coordination of the Town Board
• Provision of secretariat service to the Town Board
• Town Board Budget formulation
• Transport and asset management
• Public Relations
• Guidance and supervision of Town Board staff
• Policy formulation
• Handling legal matters through council lawyers
• Managing and monitoring the implementations of council resolutions.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
• Holder of a degree in any of the following disciplines; Public Administration, Local Governance, Business Studies or any Social science degree.
• At least three years, post qualification experience in middle management in an administrative position. Local government experience is an added advantage
• An ideal candidate to be a person of high personal integrity and at least thirty (30) years old.
• A clean record of service within the local government fraternity without any previous convictions.
• A clean criminal record supported with police cleared fingerprints.
