Total Energies is looking to recruit a Treasury Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
As Treasury Assistant, you will be responsible for the following activities :
Maintaining and updating bank accounts on daily basis for HAFS and Total Zimbabwe using T-codes FF67(Manual integration) and FF_5 (Automatic integration)
Preparation and posting of adjusting journals for Total Zimbabwe and HAFS bank accounts using T-code F-02
Clearing of open items in Transitory Bank Accounts for Total Zimbabwe and HAFS using T-Code F-03. Open items must be less than 10 across all banks for the affiliate to be rated green on PAC.
Conducting a daily tick back on all bank statements to verify the legitimacy of all debits from Total Zimbabwe and HAFS Accounts.
Perforating all supporting documents for processed payments for Total Zimbabwe Pvt Ltd & HAFS. Properly file roof of payments (POPs) for both companies.
Create EDMS requests on behalf of treasury (Stationery request, request for interbank transfers and request for payment of confirmation fees for Letters of Credit (L/Cs)
Request for the confirmation of depositors or additional information from the bank for all deposits with unclear description.
Report near misses at least 2 per year
Qualifications and Experience
Context and environment
Position requires timely uploading of bank statements in SAP and the clearing of transitory bank accounts in line with Total Group policies and procedure.
Ensure good communication with banks for the benefit of the company and the banks.
Candidate profile
As a Treasury Assistant, ideally you will possess the following :
A Degree in Finance or Accounting.
A professional qualification in Accounting/ Finance/ Banking
Excellent interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills.
