Job Description
responsible for creating compelling visual stories by managing video projects from initial concept through to final delivery. This role combines creative vision with technical expertise to shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content that engages audiences and supports brand objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Concept Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, creative directors, or marketing teams to brainstorm ideas and conceptualize video projects.
• Scripting & Storyboarding: Assist in writing scripts, building storyboards, and mapping out shot lists to ensure a clear visual direction.
• Logistics & Scouting: Scout filming locations, secure permits, and manage shoot schedules and talent coordination.
• Equipment Prep
• Video Editing: Review, trim, and assemble raw footage into a polished, high-quality final product using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Audio Mixing: Clean up background noise, balance audio levels, and integrate voiceovers, sound effects, and background music.
• Color Grading: Color correct and grade footage to maintain a consistent visual look and brand alignment.
• Motion Graphics: Add basic text animations, lower thirds, transitions, and special effects where required.
• File Management: Organize, back up, and archive raw footage and project files according to company guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related creative field (preferred, though practical skills and a portfolio often matter more).
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of standard video editing and post-production software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects,
• Professional Background: 1 to 3 years of proven experience operating professional video and audio recording equipment.
• Portfolio: A robust demo reel or portfolio showcasing prior commercial, corporate, or event videography work.
• Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience managing multi-camera setups, field lighting kits, and crisp audio recording tools (lavaliers, boom mics).
