Job Description
The organization is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the abovementioned new position.
The suitable candidate should be highly conversant with a distribution and retail environment.
The person should have working knowledge of inventory management and possess excellent organization skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
*Inventory Management (receiving, storage, coordinating order preparations, dispatching stocks with proper documentation at every stage).
* Supervise and control the operation of the warehouse activities.
* Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stocks.
* Coordinate activities and supervise the warehouse assistants and ensure safety measures are adhered to.
* Ensuring proper storage and correct documentation is generated and filed timeously.
* Report damages and losses through theft and other causes.
* Preparing periodical inventory reports for submission to management.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* The incumbent must possess a relevant First Degree/Diploma and any recognized professional qualification.
* Minimum of 5 "O" Levels including Mathematics and English.
* Aged between 30 and 40yrs.
*Stong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators.
* Proven documented experience as a warehouse employee.
