Job Description
Hogarths Engineering is a leading structural engineering and steel fabrication firm. We are seeking a highly skilled, safety-conscious, and experienced Class 1 Artisan Welder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing high-precision fabrication and welding projects in line with international quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Fabrication & Assembly: Interpret complex structural drawings to fabricate steel components, pressure vessels, and heavy-duty frameworks.
Welding Excellence: Perform high-quality welding (Arc, MIG, and TIG) to meet structural integrity and "Coded" specifications where required.
Maintenance & Repair: Conduct inspections and structural repairs on industrial plant equipment.
Quality & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to ISO 9001:2015 quality objectives and NSSA safety regulations.
Technical Interpretation: Translate blueprints into material lists and cutting plans to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
Journeyman Class 1 Welder.
Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a heavy engineering or structural steel environment
