Hogarths Engineering is a leading name in structural steel works and heavy engineering. We are seeking a results-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee our project portfolios and commercial agreements.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation of tenders, including accurate pricing, interpretation of tender conditions, and submission.
• Read and interpret structural steel blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise execution.
• Manage and supervise construction and structural steel projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and fostering long-term professional relationships.
• Monitor contract performance, manage variations, and ensure all financial objectives are met.
Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory.
• Active membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers).
• Proven track record in supervising construction and structural steel works projects.
• Extensive experience in tendering procedures, cost estimation, and contract negotiation.
• Proficient in reading and understanding complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a significant advantage.
