GENERAL MANAGER – HEALTH
JOB PURPOSE
To lead the growth and market expansion of the digital health insurance portfolio through strategic leadership of product innovation, healthcare partnerships, operational excellence, and claims governance, ensuring accessible, technology-enabled insurance solutions that support business and financial objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Formulate and execute the overarching commercial, operational, and product strategies for EcoSure Health to drive market share, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of micro-health insurance products, ensuring alignment with customer needs, mobile delivery models, and market trends. Direct end-to-end health insurance operations, including underwriting standards, digital claims processing workflows, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure rapid, transparent claim settlements.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with healthcare service providers, hospital networks, emergency rescue services, regulators, and distribution partners.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Insurance, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in health insurance, micro-insurance, or healthcare operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial capacity.
• Deep understanding of health insurance underwriting, claims management, and medical risk frameworks.
• Proven track record in P&L management, strategic decision-making, and regulatory engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
