We a vertically integrated business operating in water storage and agricultural space. Through Mutumwa Rigs, we
provide borehole drilling services, and through Mutumwa Tanks, we manufacture premium, high-capacity water
storage tanks. We deliver end-to-end water solution to commercial farmers, real estate developers, and rural
communities across Zimbabwe.
T H E R O L E
We are seeking an assertive, strategic, and highly entrepreneurial Head of Sales / Sales Lead. This is a pivotal
leadership role where you will be directly responsible for defining our commercial strategy, driving dual-revenue
streams, and—crucially—building, mentoring, and managing a brand-new team of high-performing sales field
agents from scratch. If you are a master of consultative selling with deep roots in agribusiness, construction, or
manufacturing, we want you to lead our commercial expansion.
• Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a new team of field sales agents,
setting clear KPIs, daily activity metrics, and territory targets.
• Revenue Growth & Strategy: Drive aggressive volume sales for Mutumwa Tanks (B2B wholesale and
direct) and book consistent, high-yield pipelines for Mutumwa Rigs.
• Integration & Synergy: Partner directly with our micro-finance partners(Joseph Roberts Capital) to offer
creative asset financing structures that lower barriers to entry for agricultural clients.
• Key Account Management: Personally manage and convert high-value relationships with commercial
farm managers, property syndicates, NGOs, and municipal procurement bodies.
CANDIDATE P R O F I L E
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or an Engineering/Agricultural field; or
demonstrable years as a successful senior sales executive.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years spent actively building, training, and leading
field sales teams within Zimbabwe.
• A proven track record of meeting strict revenue quotas in heavy equipment, agriculture, manufacturing,
or construction sectors.
• A clean Class 4 Driver’s License and a willingness to travel extensively to agricultural and development
hubs nationwide.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, superb technical writing ability, and complete discretion.
