Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g., employment records and onboarding guides). Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ultimately, they should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labour laws. The HRA will be working under the supervision of Finance and Admin Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will:
• Assists in Performance Management
• Orientation of all new staff members,
• Assists with Recruitment and selection
• Maintains employee records and timesheet management
• Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation,
• Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, vacation and days off,
• Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information,
• Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities,
• Assist programmatic team in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resume,
• Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in HRM or Psychology, Minimum one-year experience of working in an NGO environment, Basic understanding of labor laws, Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, must have the ability to work as part of a team, should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent administrative and organizational skills, Effective communication skills.
