Duties and Responsibilities
Plant maintenance budget formulation and control.
Maintenance task scoping, implementation and commissioning to ensure Plant machinery operates correctly and efficiently.
Ensuring Plant maintenance labour is deployed and utilized efficiently and effectively.
Design, installation and maintenance for functional safety and efficiency of plant machinery and equipment.
Working closely with other engineers and operational staff in trouble shooting and resolving plant and equipment problems.
Monitor and improve plant availability KPIs.
Lead and mentor engineering staff and artisans.
Driving engineering compliance with legal, safety, health and environmental regulations.
Ensure adherence SHEQ standards in line with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards as well as other relevant legal frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
Asset Management Project Management Skills Analytical Skills Problem Solving Skills
Qualifications
BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Membership of a professional body is a must.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a Mining or Heavy Manufacturing role.
Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks and CMMS preferred.
