Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above post, which has arisen in our Quality Assurance Department at Cairns Foods Limited (Harare).

Duties and Responsibilities
THE JOB
Reporting to the QSHE Manager, the successful applicant will, among other key aspects, be responsible for:
• Maintaining SHEQ Management System records.
• Documenting, implementing. maintaining, and reviewing all systems' procedures.
• Coordinating and conducting monthly internal SHEQ system audits.
• Ensuring effective customer complaints handling.
• Coordinating the timeous servicing and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Developing. documenting and implementing a HACCP System.
• Preparing and conducting trainings on HACCP.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and a Hygiene management System.
• Implementing continuous quality improvement programme including quality benchmarking.
• Organising and coordinating internal quality awareness campaigns.
• Compiling and submitting monthly quality assurance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
THE PERSON
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in an FMCG environment.
• At least a Degree in Food Science Technology / Biochemistry / Chemistry.
• 5 Ordinary level passes including Mathematics, English and Science.
• Good awareness of hygiene and housekeeping
• Knowledge of QSHE Standards and Procedures
