Job Description

Blueroom Mental Health Services Africa, a fast growing organisation is looking for an ideal candidate to join its Human Resource, Administration and Operations Department as an HR and Admin Focal Person.

As an HR and Admin Focal Person, you will be responsible for processing employee data as well as update the policies of the organisation. You will also have to provide assistance in the process of recruiting. You should be proficient in providing assistance in the hiring process. You should also assist in day to day operations of the Human Resources, Administration and Operations department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and Oversee employee personnel records(Employee automated files).

Update company database with the data of new employees (e.g. Background, qualification, skill, etc).

Create and circulate documents about the policies of our organization.

Publish and remove job adverts on different platforms (e.g. job boards, social networks, careers pages, etc).

Schedule prospective candidate’s job interviews and be a point of contact as required.

Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like the aggregate number of hires by the department.

Create materials to train and onboard the employees.

Respond to inquiries of employees with respect to benefits like the precedent, number of qualified vacation days, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management.

Atleast 1 year attachment/Work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or a similar role.

Proficient with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Knowledge of labor legislation (e.g. organizational health and safety, employee benefit, etc).

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong organization and analytical skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Strong negotiation and sales skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain an automated employee’s personal records.

Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.

Outstanding problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.
